Some people may know that I’m writing a chapter about the Puzzle Hall Inn @puzzlehallinn for a book on live music to be published by Bloomsbury next year.

I started the research back in February, but then after a couple of months the work was interrupted due to illness. Luckily, by then I had got some great interviews with people with inside knowledge of the venue’s illustrious past and people involved in securing its future – my thanks of course to Pete and Debbie, Geoff Amos, Jenny Bromley and Joss @jocelynowens7 . I got to hear some very interesting, surprising and sometimes heartwarming stories.

But because I had to take a break, I’m now up against a crazily tight deadline to complete the chapter. I didn’t get to interview everyone I wanted to and I hoping that I’m not missing any important ‘pieces of the puzzle’. So if you feel you have something to contribute to the story please direct message me, or if you know someone who with an important tale to tell, please let them know. Feel free to share or retweet this message and I’ll be glad to hear from you.
