Some people may know that I’m writing a chapter about the Puzzle Hall Inn @puzzlehallinn for a book on live music to be published by Bloomsbury next year.
I started the research back in February, but then after a couple of months the work was interrupted due to illness. Luckily, by then I had got some great interviews with people with inside knowledge of the venue’s illustrious past and people involved in securing its future – my thanks of course to Pete and Debbie, Geoff Amos, Jenny Bromley and Joss @jocelynowens7 . I got to hear some very interesting, surprising and sometimes heartwarming stories.
But because I had to take a break, I’m now up against a crazily tight deadline to complete the chapter. I didn’t get to interview everyone I wanted to and I hoping that I’m not missing any important ‘pieces of the puzzle’.
